Started as a way to help disadvantaged women in Kenya, Kazuri Beads (Swahili for small & beautiful) have become a symbol of hope & opportunity for many African villages. Made with clay from the area of Mt. Kenya, each of these brightly colored beads is hand shaped and then glazed and kiln-fired. I am proud to be supporting this effort as part of global awareness through the Fair Trade Act.
